With over 18 years of experience specializing in tax and finance, I have dedicated my career to helping business owners navigate the complexities of their financial landscape. My passion lies in innovation, constantly striving to create new ways to service clients that go beyond traditional methods. I believe that open communication and a deep understanding of what your business data can tell you are key to unlocking solutions for most business problems. By providing insightful analysis and fostering strong client relationships, I aim to empower business owners with the tools they need to achieve their goals and drive sustainable growth.

Beyond my professional life, I am deeply passionate about history, culture, travel, art, and nature. As a social butterfly, I thrive on connecting with others, whether it's through work, community events, or just a friendly conversation. And as a mother of two little boys, I cherish the time spent exploring the world and nurturing their curiosity about the wonders around them. This balance between my work and personal life continually inspires me to bring fresh ideas to the services I offer.

Director of Operations
With 15+ years of experience working in the professional services space, I have spent the majority of my career working in Tax. My specialty has always been practice and project management, with a focus on operations. During my career, I pursued my Bachelors Degree part-time at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), graduating with my major in Marketing and minor in Communications. Growing up with a family-owned, small business, it has become a passion of mine to help small businesses in any way possible, which is why I joined the Balance Accounting team.
Having 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry, my area of expertise is the function of outsourced accountant/controller for small to midsize businesses. Small business owners are faced with enough issues running a business. My passion is to help those business owners find reasonable and affordable solutions to their accounting and tax problems.
I have over 20 years of experience in accounting, working with mid sized corporations. During the pandemic, I shifted my focus to working with small businesses on their day to day accounting needs. I like working with clients to help them understand their finances in order for them to make better business decisions. I am passionate about helping clients with their books so that they can invest more time in their business needs. In my spare time I enjoy reading, learning, lifting weights and practicing Reiki and Shamanic Healing. Fun fact, I am a Certified in Shamanic Healing and Reiki and will become a Reiki Master at the end of August.

Graduating with my certificate in business administration, I have been working in the accounting field as a bookkeeper and tax preparer since 2010. At Balance Accounting we are dedicated to streamlining the bookkeeping and tax process for our clients as smoothly as possible. Fun fact about me, I lived in Germany for 5 years, which is an experience I will always cherish!
With 7 years of experience specializing in Corporate and Partnership Tax and US Tax Advisory, my area of expertise has been navigating complex tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and ensuring compliance for diverse clients. The culture in the team, the strong emphasis on professional development, mentorship from the Principal, and the collaborative work environment is why I choose Balance Accounting. In my downtime, I love to travel and experience different cultures, meet different people and see different places. Occasionally I can be found playing the guitar!

I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Economic and Management Science at Toronto Metropolitan University in the Ted Rogers program. After graduating, I would like to further my accounting education by pursuing my CPA designation. The business model of Balance Accounting allows me to communicate with clients on a personal level, helping to ensure they receive the best service possible. I am passionate about helping clients with their books because their satisfaction is priceless! In my spare time, I enjoy being active and trying new things. Currently, I am learning how to play golf!
